The Rainstorm

Mighty winds of ancient origin
Sweep-on clean-up
Cover us with your power
Shake the leafs and leave our roofs
Bring us the rains and kiss the clouds
Walk-up to our doors
And water our toils

Pour the clean breeze on
Our shores and defuse the dust
Melt our hard stands
And reconcile us with peace
Dance away the raging lightning fears
And bless us with enduring hope, courage

O! Come Mighty rainstorms
Come refresh our tired resolves
Invite the peaceful rains
To compensate our sorry toils
And deepen our smiles.
